How To Get Revision Zero

You can’t chase catalysts if you don’t own the weapon, so start there. Progress through the “More Than a Weapon” seasonal questline and complete the “Operation: Seraph’s Shield” Exotic mission to acquire Revision Zero. The mission unlocks through the quest chain itself. Once it’s available, open the H.E.L.M. map and launch the activity from there.

No joke, the mission itself is a treat, but it’s also where all the catalyst schematics live. You’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for dead Exo frames tucked away in corners and vents.

Unlocking The Catalyst Quests

For the catalysts, you need to complete the “Should You Choose To Accept It” series of quests from the Exo Frame at the H.E.L.M. There are four versions, and they all follow the same basic rhythm:

Complete a short mission: “Operation: Diocles.”
Visit a destination and defeat 100 combatants.
Locate a Hakke dead drop inside a specific Lost Sector.
Boot up the Legend version of Seraph’s Shield.
Find the inactive Exo frame with the weapon schematic and finish the mission.

The four parts vary only by destination and Lost Sector.

Dead Drop Locations

Each dead drop is at or near the Lost Sector chest, so don’t overthink it.

Perdition: Directly to the right of the Lost Sector chest.
K1 Logistics: In the room right behind the Lost Sector chest.
Terminus East: To the right of the chest, against the wall.
Exodus Garden 2a: Right behind the chest, toward the exit.

Weapon Schematic Locations In Seraph’s Shield

You’ll need to run the Legend version and interact with four specific Exo frames. Honestly, these are easy to miss if you’re rushing, so slow down a little.

Schematic 1: Floor Puzzle

After activating the three correct panels in the floor puzzle, interact with the dead Exo frame beside the exit. This unlocks the Feeding Frenzy catalyst option.

Schematic 2: Operator Puzzle

When you enter the vents to shoot the second Operator switch, hang a left at the end of the vent to find a hidden Exo frame. This one unlocks Under Pressure.

Schematic 3: Surrender Encounter

Right after the first boss fight with the Ascendant Knight, double back to the boss arena before you surrender to the Fallen. From the entrance, head right and enter the first open door you see. The Exo inside unlocks Outlaw.

Schematic 4: Ketch Escape

During the jail cell breakout aboard the Fallen Ketch, check one of the prison cells to find an Exo frame. This grants the Fourth Time’s the Charm catalyst.

Catalyst Effects And Crafting Tips

Revision Zero has four Exotic Catalysts you can socket through The Enclave’s crafting menu, each granting a unique perk. You can only equip one at a time, and you’ll need to level the weapon to unlock all perk options.

When I craft my roll, I look for these synergies:

Fourth Time’s the Charm works on Revision Zero’s alt-fire mode. Land four headshots with the sniper alt-fire to gain two more rounds.
Under Pressure buffs the accuracy of the alt-fire mode, which is huge for landing those crits.
Barrel: Smallbore, Arrowhead Brake, and Hammer-Forged Rifling are your best options. I usually stick with Smallbore.
Magazine: Armor-Piercing Rounds let the sniper alt-fire pierce targets. High-Caliber Rounds make enemies flinch more often in PvE.
Perks: Elemental Capacitor can max out a stat based on your subclass, and Vorpal Weapon works on the alt-fire mode.
