Destiny 2 Warlock Crucible Builds That Still Slap in 2026
Meta Destiny 2 Warlock builds for Crucible: Arc Stormcaller, Solar Dawnblade, Stasis, and Void—annihilate lobbies with these elite setups.
If there’s one thing a Guardian can count on in the Crucible, it's that Warlocks will find a way to float elegantly into danger and somehow delete an entire fireteam. Even in 2026, these four builds remain the stuff of Lord Shaxx's sweaty dreams. Whether someone wants to cosplay as a living lightning bolt, a phoenix with a medkit, an ice cream machine of doom, or a walking purple nuke, there's a setup here.

Arc – Stormcaller
Slot this build when the goal is to be extremely annoying at close range—or when the local shotgun ape needs a lesson in personal space. Season 18's Arc 3.0 rework gave Stormcallers a serious glow-up, and the bones of that rework still hold strong.

Stat Priorities: Recovery, Discipline, Strength
-
Super: Stormtrance. This roaming Super has nasty area damage on cast, teleportation for mobility, and enough ranged zap to make an enemy think twice. It isn't the tankiest roamer, so a player shouldn't just charge into a firing squad.
-
Class Ability: Healing Rift.
-
Melee: Chain Lightning. It's a nasty ranged melee that Jolts enemies and gets buffed while Amplified to hit more times. It also has the lowest cooldown among the melee options, which plays nicely with the Aspects.
-
Grenade: Pulse Grenade. Solid all-round utility and area control.
Aspects: Arc Soul and Lightning Surge. Lightning Surge is the star of this build. It turns the charged melee into a short-range teleport that can pass through enemies, damaging and jolting them as the Warlock reappears. This is a great mobility and damage tool to combo with melee and close-range weapons for almost guaranteed kills. Arc Soul is a general utility aspect that helps both the user and teammates deal more damage and recharges the rift faster.
Fragments: Feedback, Magnitude, Recharge, Resistance. These boost two key stats, enhance grenades, and improve melee damage and resistance.
Weapons and Exotics: This build plays very strongly with all kinds of shotguns in combination with Lightning Surge. Sidearms and SMGs also complement the playstyle. Ophidian Aspect is a great neutral armor piece that synergizes well with many parts of this kit. Karnstein Armlets grant instant health recovery and then regeneration after melee kills. For Arc Soul enthusiasts, Getaway Artist gloves feed those floating turrets. This build is basically a haunted toaster with a shotgun.
Solar – Dawnblade
For the Warlock who wants to be airborne, supportive, and still somehow the most annoying player in the lobby. Dawnblade has long been a top Crucible pick because of Icarus Dash, and Solar 3.0 added some spicy healing tools.

Stat Priorities: Recovery, Discipline, Resilience
-
Super: Daybreak. Still one of the best roaming Supers in the game.
-
Class Ability: Healing Rift or Phoenix Dive, depending on how dramatic the player wants the escape to look.
-
Melee: Celestial Fire. Hits with this ability make the user and allies Radiant, increasing damage.
-
Grenade: Healing Grenade. It provides an instant heal, an uninterruptible shield, and health regeneration extended by Fragments.
Aspects: Icarus Dash and Touch of Flame. Icarus Dash gives instant mobility that Warlocks traditionally lack—like a dodge for someone with a library card. Touch of Flame makes those healing grenades even more potent.
Fragments: Benevolence, Solace, Torches, plus one more of the player's choice. Benevolence grants grenade, melee, and class ability energy whenever Radiant or Restoration is applied to teammates, which happens constantly.
Weapons and Exotics: This build is not gear-dependent, so neutral options like Ophidian Aspects and Transversive Steps are great. Claws of Ahamkara for double Celestial Fire is both fun and powerful. Icarus Dash means the user can dodge like a caffeinated hummingbird.
Stasis – Shadebinder
Considered by many to be the best Crucible subclass, Shadebinder is for those who believe the best offense is turning enemies into popsicles. This build has more control and damage resistance than a stubborn glacier.

Stat Priorities: Recovery, Discipline, Strength
-
Melee: Penumbral Blast. Hitting with this ability is a big part of getting good with the subclass. Enemies frozen by it are easy kills and set up further plays.
-
Grenade: Coldsnap Grenade. These cause an instant freeze on hit and can seek nearby targets like a tiny frozen homing missile.
Aspects: Iceflare Bolts and Frostpulse. Frostpulse is another freeze ability and is great at shutting down rushers. Iceflare Bolts lets freeze kills generate even more freeze, creating a chain reaction of regret.
Fragments: Chains, Fissures, Impetus, Refraction.
Weapons and Exotics: Osmiomancy Gloves are extremely powerful. They grant an extra Coldsnap grenade charge, increase tracking on the throw, grant energy on hits, and increase the range of spawned seekers. The sidearm Cryosthesia 77K provides even more freeze, and Traveler's Chosen can return ability energy after kills. A sniper rifle also enables easy kills against frozen opponents. Rushers will learn a very cold lesson, usually while sliding into a crystal coffin.
Void – Voidwalker
For the Guardian who enjoys turning a corner into a purple vortex and watching a Titan bubble become a very expensive firework. Voidwalker has many possible builds, but this one focuses on grenades with enough power to make the floor regret existing.

Stat Priorities: Recovery, Discipline, Resilience
-
Super: Nova Bomb: Cataclysm. It might be a one-shot attack and it might move slowly, but with a huge area of effect and the ability to destroy Titan bubbles (and everyone inside them), it can still swing matches.
-
Class Ability: Healing Rift for support utility.
-
Jump: Blink or not. Blink can be a powerful movement tool, but it is not for everyone. Some players prefer to keep their sanity.
-
Melee: Pocket Singularity. There is only one choice, but it really hurts anyone who tries to rush.
-
Grenade: Axion Bolts or Vortex Grenade. Bolts enable more aggressive play, while Vortex is a powerful area denial tool.
Aspects: Chaos Accelerant and Child of the Old Gods. Chaos Accelerant gives grenades devastating power. Child of the Old Gods is a versatile ability that can weaken enemies, chip away their health, and return energy.
Fragments: Echo of Remnants plus two others. There are no other real must-haves, so pick fragments that boost key stats.
Weapons and Exotics: Contraverse Hold gloves give the best return from powerful grenade abilities. If Blink is the jump of choice, Astrocyte Verse is a must-take. Otherwise neutral exotics like Ophidian Aspect or Transversive Steps remain as useful as ever. Nova Bomb doesn't need to be quick when it can erase an entire bubble party and the friendship inside it.
At the end of the day, these builds have aged like fine wine—or at least like a well-rolled weapon. Whether a Guardian wants to jolt, heal, freeze, or delete, there's a Warlock setup ready to make Shaxx proud and the lobby miserable.
