I Revisited Destiny 2's Season of the Seraph Week 6 Challenges and Found the Fastest Route
Master Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph Week 6 challenges like More Than a Weapon VI, Heist Battlegrounds V, and Seraph's Secrets with fast XP guides.
Let me tell you, I did not expect to be thumbing through my old Destiny 2 playbook in 2026, but here we are. A couple of friends dragged me back into Season of the Seraph's time-limited Triumphs because apparently one of them still needed the Veles-X ornament and I am weak to peer pressure. So I booted up the H.E.L.M., looked at that gorgeous Exo Frame, and realized these Seasonal Challenges are a weird mix of “free XP” and “why does Bungie hate my free time.” If you're also late to the party or just want a laugh, here's how I got through week six of Season of the Seraph without losing my entire sanity.

More Than a Weapon VI
This one sounds dramatic, but it's really a two-part errand. You need to complete Week 6 of “More Than a Weapon,” which means visiting the Exo Frame at the H.E.L.M. and doing the weekly quest steps. Easy enough. The second part wants you to defeat 100 powerful Hive or Fallen combatants. In Destiny 2 terms, “powerful” means orange-bar majors or anything chunkier. I found plenty of them in the Heist Battlegrounds playlist and Operation: Seraph's Shield. No need to be elegant—just shoot anything glowing with an orange health bar and you'll be done before your coffee gets cold.
Rewards: Exo Frame Module and 50,000 XP.

Heist Battlegrounds V
This challenge asks you to open 30 Seraph Chests and defeat five Deathtongue Choristers before they can channel Xivu Arath's battlesong. The chest part is tedious but thankfully retroactive, so if you've been running Heist Battlegrounds all season, you may already be halfway there. The Choristers are the real test. They spawn in every Heist Battleground at a pre-determined point, usually a short distance from an Annihilator Totem. When I saw one, I hit it with everything I had. Bring a solid DPS loadout—Linear Fusion Rifles, Swords, or Rocket Launchers all work wonders. The faster you melt them, the less likely you are to hear that awful battlesong start up.
Rewards: Exo Frame Module and 50,000 XP.

Seraph's Secrets
If you enjoy treasure hunts, this one's for you. You need to open two hidden chests in Operation: Seraph's Shield. You don't have to grab both in a single run, which is a blessing for anyone still working on Revision Zero Catalysts. I ended up finding both while doing a couple of clears, and honestly, it felt like getting bonus candy. Just keep an eye out for sneaky side rooms and destructible vents. The hidden chests are there, waiting to reward your curiosity.
Reward: A nice chunk of progress toward completion.

CQC Loadout
Now we get into the melee madness. This challenge requires you to defeat 125 enemies with Glaives, then defeat 50 enemies in Heist Battlegrounds with melee final blows. The Glaive part isn't too bad because the blade's melee attack has infinite ammo. I slapped on Synthoceps or Winter's Guile to boost my Glaive melee damage and went to town. For the melee objectives, a melee-centric build is your best friend. Here's what worked for me across classes:
| Class | Melee Build Suggestion |
|---|---|
| Hunter | Arcstrider's Combination Blow for easy kills |
| Warlock | Dawnblade's Incinerating Snap—Ignite kills from melee count |
| Titan | Sunbreaker's Throwing Hammer for near-unlimited hammers |

Apex Armorer
This Seasonal Challenge is not retroactive, so you'll need to Masterwork a brand-new piece of armor. The silver lining is that Masterworking a Legendary armor piece only costs one Ascendant Shard and some Enhancement Prisms. If your Season Pass is leveled up, you probably have the materials already. If not, farm some Nightfalls and pray RNGesus blesses you with Ascendant Shards. My advice? Masterwork a class item. Class items don't roll with stats, so you won't be gambling on a suboptimal piece. It's the low-stakes play.
Rewards: 25,000 XP and 75 Bright Dust.

Absolutely Stunning
This one asks you to stun 50 Champions in any PvE activity. Note the wording carefully: stuns, not kills. That's the loophole. You can cheese this by equipping a Stasis subclass, Duskfield Grenades, and an Overload weapon. Find an activity with Overload Champions, stun the Champion, then immediately throw a Duskfield Grenade at them. The Champion freezes, which clears their stunned status and lets you stun them again. You can effectively stunlock the poor thing until it dies. It feels a little mean, but hey, Bright Dust is Bright Dust.
Rewards: 100,000 XP and 300 Bright Dust.

Crucible Ornament
This is the grind that makes you question your life choices. The Volos-X ornament is the Crucible ornament for the Veles-X Pulse Rifle, and you obtain it by resetting your Crucible Valor rank and then reaching rank 16 again. There's no shortcut here, sadly. You just have to play a ton of Crucible matches and embrace the chaos. I recommend playing with friends, listening to a podcast, and not checking how many matches remain. If you're chasing the ritual weapon itself, the Veles-X guide covers how to get it and what it does, plus how to earn its other two ornaments.
Rewards: 100,000 XP and 300 Bright Dust.

Final Thoughts
So there you have it—my slightly unhinged trek through Week 6 of Season of the Seraph. It's a mix of busywork, champion stunlock shenanigans, and one very long Crucible grind. The keys are to farm Heist Battlegrounds for combatants and chests, bring a good DPS loadout for Choristers, and lean into melee builds for CQC Loadout. If you're also back in 2026 doing this for nostalgia or Bright Dust, I salute you. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go Masterwork another class item and wonder where all my Ascendant Shards went. 😅
