My Ultimate Terminus Horizon God Rolls Guide for 2025 PvE & PvP

Discover the versatile and powerful Terminus Horizon machine gun, a must-have for PvE and PvP in 2025's Destiny sandbox, with optimal god rolls for every playstyle.

Just spent the entire weekend grinding the Rite of Nine event and finally got my hands on the reprised Terminus Horizon machine gun! Guys, this weapon is INSANE in both PvE and PvP right now, and I've tested literally every perk combination so you don't have to 😎

I know there are tons of machine guns in the meta right now (especially with Watchful Eye from Heresy being so popular), but Terminus Horizon deserves your attention in 2025's sandbox. Let me break down why this is worth your time!

PvE God Rolls - So Many Options!

The beauty of Terminus Horizon is its versatility. Unlike most weapons that have one clear god roll, this machine gun has multiple incredible combinations depending on your playstyle.

For the barrel and magazine perks, I'm running:

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake (for that sweet recoil control)

  • Magazine: Tactical Mag (balanced approach) or Extended Mag (more bullets = more fun)

But the real magic happens in columns 3 and 4:

Third Column Options:

  • Reconstruction - My personal favorite! It passively reloads the weapon while stowed, eventually DOUBLING your magazine size. I've been getting almost 100 rounds without firing a shot!

  • Envious Arsenal - This is lowkey broken for boss DPS rotations. When you deal damage with your other weapons, this one automatically reloads. I've been pairing this with my Exotic rocket launcher and it's chef's kiss 👨‍🍳

  • Triple Tap - Not as flashy but super effective for sustained damage on bigger targets

  • Dragonfly - Fun for add clear but not my top pick

Fourth Column Bangers:

  • Killing Tally - The undisputed champion! Up to 30% damage increase that stays until you reload or stow the weapon. I've been melting Champions with this without breaking a sweat.

  • Jolting Feedback - If you're running Arc subclass, this applies Jolt to enemies. Paired with the new Arc fragments from Season 29, this is RIDICULOUS for add clear.

  • Rolling Storm - Gives Bolt Charge stacks on kills. More situational than the others, but great for Arc builds.

My personal god roll after testing everything? Reconstruction + Killing Tally. Nothing beats having a constantly reloading weapon that also deals increasing damage!

PvP God Roll - Simpler But Still Deadly

PvP is much more straightforward since heavy ammo works differently. You don't need reload perks because picking up heavy ammo fills your magazine anyway.

My tested god roll for Crucible:

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake (recoil control is ESSENTIAL)

  • Magazine: Ricochet Rounds (that range and stability boost is noticeable)

  • Triple Tap - This is literally the only viable option here for PvP. It creates free ammo when you land precision hits, meaning you can get more kills from a single heavy brick than your opponents. In Trials, this can be the difference between winning and losing!

  • Killing Tally - Still king here, giving up to 15% damage increase in PvP. I've been able to stretch one heavy pickup into 5-6 kills with this combo!

Target Lock is technically an option too, but it requires successive hits which is harder to pull off against actual players who don't stand still 🙄

How To Get It in 2025

The Rite of Nine event is running all month, and it's the ONLY way to get the reprised version with these new perk combinations. The old version from regular Spire of the Watcher doesn't have these cracked perk pools.

Complete encounters in the Rite of Nine version of Spire of the Watcher on any difficulty. I've had the most success on Master difficulty, but it's definitely not required.

Pro tip: Use the attunement feature at the Rite of Nine hub! This significantly increases your chances of getting Terminus Horizon as a drop from encounters. I went from getting 1 in 5 runs to almost guaranteed drops after attuning.

While you're grinding, keep an eye out for the Wilderflight grenade launcher too - it pairs PERFECTLY with Terminus Horizon for an all-legendary loadout that feels exotic.

I'm absolutely loving this machine gun in the current sandbox. The way it synergizes with 2025's new Strand and Prismatic subclass fragments is just chef's kiss.

Have you guys gotten your Terminus Horizon yet? Drop your god rolls in the comments and let me know which perks you're running! I'll be streaming my Rite of Nine runs all weekend if anyone needs help getting their rolls! 🎮✨
