My Week 3 Journey Through Destiny 2's Season of the Seraph

If there is one thing I have learned after all these years as a Guardian, it is that Clovis Bray always has another chore waiting for me in the H.E.L.M. On this particular week, Week 3 of Season of the Seraph, I floated into the H.E.L.M. feeling ready to help Rasputin finally piece himself back together. The Exo Frame near Clovis was glowing with that familiar amber light, so I strolled over to see what he wanted. Let me tell you, that man can talk, but he did have the latest update on the Warmind launch code encryption and a new ally to mention. Before I could even ask questions, he was already sending me off to gather more data.

The first stop was simple enough. I spoke to Clovis at the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M. He gave me the same old speech about progress, encryption, and how Rasputin could not be trusted yet. Still, I nodded along and accepted the next assignment. There was no shortcut here; the quest would not move forward until I listened to every word.

Heist Battlegrounds and the Seraph Chest

After the briefing, I headed into the Heist Battlegrounds playlist. These missions are no joke. If you show up without anti-Champion mods and a solid PVE loadout, you are going to have a bad time. I loaded in with my usual scout rifle, a fusion rifle, and a heavy machine gun, then got to work clearing out the enemy forces. The objective also required me to spend 500 Seraph Key Codes to unlock the additional chest at the end of the mission. I had been hoarding codes for a while, so I was able to crack that chest open without a second run. Long story short, the extra loot was worth the grind.

Once the chest was open, I made my way back to the H.E.L.M. and spoke to Elsie Bray at the holoprojector. She had that calm, focused tone she always uses before a dangerous operation. Elsie told me about my next mission: a daring orbital raid to introduce a virus that would allow Rasputin to access the Seraph Station Network once he was restored. I stood there for a second, thinking about how often I end up in orbit for these people, but I was not about to back down.

Seraph's Shield

Then came the big one: Seraph's Shield. This Exotic mission takes place on the Seraph Space Station, and it is long, atmospheric, and genuinely fun. I decided to run it solo because I can be stubborn like that, but I will admit it was pretty difficult. A Fireteam would have made some of the tougher rooms much easier, especially when the security drones started swarming. The station itself felt alive in that cold, mechanical way, and every corridor reminded me how much history the Warmind carries. After a lot of close calls and one very dramatic boss fight, I completed the mission. That cleared the next step for both The Hidden Shape and More Than a Weapon.

Back to Clovis

With the station virus planted and the mission complete, I returned to Clovis at the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M. He was waiting, as always, with that smug holographic face. I gave him the results of my orbital visit. He asked me to continue retrieving Submind data until he had further updates on Rasputin's upload. For my trouble, he handed over an Engram and more Seraphic Umbral Energy. It was not exactly a heartfelt thank you, but I have learned to take what I can get.

Week 3 felt like a real turning point. The Heist was tough, the orbital mission was a blast, and Rasputin finally felt a little closer to waking up. I logged off that night thinking about the next step. If there is one thing this season taught me, it is that the Warmind restoration was not going to be a quick fix. But hey, I would do it all over again for that Seraph loot.
