Savathun's Spire 2026: Pro Tips to Conquer It
Master Savathun’s Spire from Season of the Witch with this quick guide covering every encounter and platforming puzzle for a smooth clear.
Season of the Witch might have dropped way back in 2023, but in 2026 Savathun's Spire is still a highlight for any Guardian aiming to help Eris Morn reach out to Savathun and take the fight to Xivu Arath. I\'ve run this 3‑player offensive mission more times than I can count, and let me tell you – whether you\'re a new light or a dusty veteran, nailing the flow can be the difference between a smooth 15‑minute clear and a wipefest. So grab your fireteam, because I\'m about to spill the beans on every encounter, every puzzle, and every sneaky platforming section. No sweat, right?

Kicking things off is the first encounter, and it\'s a total rinse‑and‑repeat gig. Someone activates the ritual and suddenly you\'re in a big circular arena. A yellow‑bar Solar Votarist struts in packing a Hive Ghost – that\'s your cue to melt him fast and then squish his Ghost before it can resurrect him. Easy peasy. Once the Votarist is down and the Ghost is dust, a Solar Crystal appears on the floor. One of you has to grab it and sprint to a marked spot. But here\'s the kicker: that crystal is hotter than a Shaxx motivational speech, and it\'ll chew through your health bar if you dawdle. So be the Speedy Gonzales of your team, call out \"Grabbing hot potato!\" and book it. After you dunk the crystal, another Solar Votarist spawns – rinse and repeat until the game finally says \"enough\" and a path opens up in the middle, leading you upward. In an alternative version of this first fight you\'ll be squaring off against multiple Ogres, then two wizards will spawn in the centre, and defeating them opens the way. Whichever version you get, the key is staying cool and managing the adds.

Now comes everyone\'s \'favourite\' part – the first platforming gauntlet. After you rise from the first arena, take a deep breath; there are no combat puzzles here, but it\'s easy to get turned around. Look for a Hive vapor lift to boost you up another level. You\'ll face a straight corridor with three swinging light pendulums. As a Hunter with Triple Jump, I can usually hop straight over them without breaking a sweat, but if you\'re a Warlock or Titan you can just wait for the pendulum to swing away and then make your move. Once past, turn left and use the three fire plates to launch yourself up to the big platform at the end. Turn left again, jump up to the ledge above, then turn right and grab another Hive vapor. Now you\'re in a huge cylindrical arena with platforms stuck to the wall – think of it as a vertical dance floor. Take your time here; one slip and you\'re Guardian paste. At the top, one final Hive vapor takes you to the ritual activation point. No drama, just patience.

Up next is the second encounter, and RNG will either treat you to Arc Votarists or Solar Votarists again. If you pull the Solar variant, it\'s basically a harder version of the first encounter – more Solar Crystals to dunk, and a Solar Core in the middle of the room that heats up like an oven, dealing massive damage if you\'re too slow. Keep the crystals moving, and prioritize survival over heroics. If you get the Arc variant, it\'s time to play elemental tag. One lit Arc Crystal will be shining somewhere in the arena. Punch it with your melee to absorb Arc energy – you\'ll see a timer tick down. Then run to any unlit crystal and give it a good smack to transfer the charge. Repeat this for all crystals, and when you\'ve lit them all, Arc Votarists will spawn with their Hive Ghosts. Flatten them and crush those Ghosts, and the encounter ends. The loop can feel like a workout, but once you get the rhythm it\'s second nature.

After clearing the second encounter, a Hive mirror will be marked – jump in, and you\'ll land in a room with a set of Hive runes printed in the centre. This is where Guardians often wipe because they forget the sequence. My pro tip: jot those runes down on a sticky note, your phone, or even the back of your hand. You\'ll thank me later. Around you are four mirrors, and you need to step into the one whose top runes match the sequence in the middle. Once in, you\'re in a new dimension. Hop across three round platforms while dodging those pesky pendulums, then drop down to a pillar, where you\'ll see another four-mirror set. Find the matching runes and jump in again.

Now it gets real spicy. You\'ll be in a corridor with a Hive elevator – shoot it to make it work, ride across, and do the same on the other side. Then comes the hardest platforming stretch in the mission: a long bridge with a massive pendulum swinging back and forth and moving pillars on the sides trying to squash you like a bug. Stay dead centre, jump over the pendulum as it passes, and don\'t forget to shoot the Hive trap before you land. One more mirror set awaits after a right turn and a couple of platforms; find your runes again, dive in, and you\'re finally at the boss arena. No runes on the last mirror – just jump in and get ready to rumble.

The final showdown can throw you a few curveballs depending on your luck, but the core fight is always the same. As soon as you rally to the flag, a lone boss appears in the middle – melt that chump immediately. Then you\'ll be tasked with activating the twin bosses. If you see Solar or Arc crystals, you already know the drill: dunk or tag until the bosses spawn. The third possibility is a set of purple crystals sitting inside small shields. Here, you need to stand inside the shield and break the crystal. Do this for all of them, and the final Solar‑infused and Arc‑infused bosses will jump into the arena. Take them both down, and the mission wraps. In an alternative Scorn version, you\'ll drain the boss\'s health to half, then stand on a Solar plate to charge it up, which drops its shield and lets you finish the fight. Easy money.

And that\'s the whole shebang. Savathun\'s Spire is all about teamwork, quick thinking, and a bit of notebook work for those runes. Even in 2026 it remains a fantastic source of loot and a proper test of your Guardian skills. So grab your crew, keep your cool, and show Savathun what you\'re made of. See you starside!
