Xur's Weekend Haul: 2026's Festival of the Lost Loot & Where to Find Him Now!
Destiny 2 Xur location and Festival of the Lost 2026 rewards shine with new exotic class items and Arc Heavy Burst shotgun—don't miss this game-changing update!
What's up, Guardians! It's your boy, back with the weekly scoop on our favorite shady weekend vendor, Xur. As we're deep into Destiny 2's Year 10 (can you believe it's 2026?!), the Festival of the Lost is in full swing, and let me tell you, the vibes are immaculate. Sure, we're still running those Haunted Sectors and collecting pages, but the real tea this year is that Bungie finally listened! Exotic class items are now up for grabs for everyone with The Final Shape expansion—no more sweating through Dual Destiny. Just hand Eva Levante 1 Eerie Engram and 2500 candies, and boom, a random exotic class item is yours, unlocking even more goodies from Xur and Overthrow chests. Game changer, right? But wait, there's more! A new Arc Heavy Burst shotgun, Arcane Embrace, is also in the mix with some spicy new perks on the old Festival weapons. Let's dive into what our tentacle-faced friend has for us this weekend.

First things first, finding Xur. Remember the old days of planet-hopping every Friday? Yeah, those are long gone, fam. Since the big Year 7 vendor revamp, Xur has set up shop permanently in the Bazaar at the Tower. No more guessing games! To find him, spawn at either fast travel point in the Tower Courtyard or the Annex—they're both right there. Head into the Bazaar area where you usually see Ikora and Hawthorne. Look for the Ramen Shop on the back wall, and to its right, you'll find a little alley. And there he is, in all his mysterious glory, ready to take your Strange Coins. Seriously, this QoL update was a total W.
Xur's role has expanded massively since the revamp. He's not just a exotic salesman anymore; he's a whole progression system. Here's the lowdown on his core offerings:
-
Exotic Cipher Quest: Still a must-do if you want that second Fated Engram or need to grab old exotics from the Monument to Lost Lights kiosk. You'll need to complete strikes and win Crucible or Gambit matches. Pro tip: running with your clan or tackling harder activities gives bonus progress. Get it done!
-
Xur's Reputation: Yep, you can rank up with him now. Grinding his activities earns you rewards and focusing options.
-
The Goods: His inventory is stacked. We're talking Catalysts (Polaris Lance, Lord of Wolves), the slick Xurfboard Skimmer, philosophy-themed shaders (Essentialism/Stoicism/Solipsism), Ascendant Shards, Enhancement Cores, and of course, his legendary and exotic gear. Don't forget the 'Strange Gift' for 1 Strange Coin—it's a fun little lootbox moment.
Now, for the main event: the exotics. Let's break down what he's selling for each class this weekend.
Warlock: Apotheosis Veil (Helmet)

Exotic Perk: Void Soul Leech - Defeating targets with Void abilities spawns a Void Soul. Collecting it grants ability energy and starts health regeneration for you and nearby allies.
The Verdict: Oof, this one hurts to look at. On paper, a 67 total stat roll is insane, basically god-tier... until you see the distribution. That +30 spike is in Mobility. For a Warlock. Let that sink in. Resilience and Recovery are sitting at a sad +3 each. In the current meta where survivability is everything, this roll is an instant dismantle. Unless you're building for some ultra-niche, max-mobility PvP build (why though?), give this a hard pass. Major L this week, space wizards.
Stat Breakdown (Total: 67):
| Mobility | Resilience | Recovery | Discipline | Intellect | Strength |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| +30 | +3 | +3 | +10 | +19 | +2 |
Hunter: Aeon Swift (Gauntlets)

Exotic Perk - Aeon's Wrath: Rapid precision hits temporarily boost reload and weapon swap speed.
Exotic Perk - Foebreaker Chant: Stun a Champion or land rapid precision hits on a major to mark it. Allies deal increased damage to marked targets. Marking a target also grants grenade and melee energy to nearby Aeon Cult allies (not using Sect of Force).
The Verdict: Look, Aeon cult gear has come a long way from being instant shard material. In coordinated endgame teams, these can be low-key amazing for support and ability spam. This roll is... decent. A 66 total with a +20 Intellect spike is okay for getting your Super back faster. The distribution is fairly balanced otherwise. They're not gonna replace your Celestial Nighthawk or Lucky Pants for most content, but if you're running Master/Grandmaster Nightfalls with a squad that's all-in on the Aeon strat, these could be a solid pickup. A situational B-tier option.
Stat Breakdown (Total: 66):
| Mobility | Resilience | Recovery | Discipline | Intellect | Strength |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| +11 | +11 | +12 | +2 | +20 | +10 |
Titan: Synthoceps (Gauntlets)

Exotic Perk - Biotic Enhancements: Increased melee lunge range. Improved melee and Super damage when you're surrounded.
The Verdict: Titans, you absolute winners. You've taken the W this week, no contest. Even with the lowest total stat roll at 65, this distribution is chef's kiss for a punch-happy Titan. +19 Resilience is the dream for staying alive in the thick of it, +13 Recovery is great, and +15 Discipline means more grenades to soften up the crowd before you go in swinging. Synthoceps themselves are an S-tier exotic, a cornerstone of melee and Super-damage builds. This is an absolute must-buy if you don't have a good roll already. This is what we call a major W.
Stat Breakdown (Total: 65):
| Mobility | Resilience | Recovery | Discipline | Intellect | Strength |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| +2 | +19 | +13 | +15 | +14 | +2 |
Exotic Weapons Galore!
One of the best parts of the Xur 2.0 system is he often brings multiple exotic weapons. Here's the lineup:
-
Hawkmoon (Hand Cannon)
.jpg)-
Perk: Paracausal Shot - Final blows and precision hits build stacks. The final round deals bonus damage based on stacks.
-
Roll: Full Bore / Alloy Magazine / Rangefinder / Smooth Grip. A very solid PvP-focused roll with max range. If you're a hand cannon enjoyer in the Crucible, this is worth considering.
-
-
The Huckleberry (Submachine Gun)

-
Perk: Ride the Bull - Holding the trigger increases fire rate. Kills automatically reload the mag. Comes with Rampage.
-
Roll: Fluted Barrel / Ricochet Rounds / Short-Action Stock. This thing is an add-clearing monster, especially in lower-tier content. The roll boosts handling and stability. Always a fun pickup.
-
-
Graviton Lance (Pulse Rifle)

-
Perk: Black Hole - Second shot of the burst is a high-damage void projectile. Cosmology makes enemies explode into tracking void seekers on kill.
-
Roll: Hammer-Forged Rifling / Accurized Rounds / Fitted Stock. This is a Void-lock's best friend. The range and stability boosts make it even more of a beast for triggering volatile rounds and clearing rooms. Highly recommended.
-
-
D.A.R.C.I. (Sniper Rifle)

-
Perk: Personal Assistant - Aim to see enemy health. Target Acquired - While scoped, better aim assist, huge precision damage, and jolts the target.
-
Roll: Extended Barrel / Extended Mag / Short-Action Stock. Look, D.A.R.C.I. has its fans as a heavy-hitting, info-gathering tool, but it's still not meta. The roll is fine, but only grab this if you're a collector or really love the gun's gimmick.
-
Legendary Gear & Black Armory Sets
As always, Xur has a full suite of legendary weapons and armor for 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer each. The weapon rotation this week includes some classics:
-
Until Its Return (Kinetic Shotgun)
-
Whispering Slab (Kinetic Bow)
-
Gridskipper (Energy Pulse Rifle)
-
Persuader (Energy Sniper Rifle)
-
Memory Interdict (Heavy Grenade Launcher)
-
Falling Guillotine / Class Swords (Heavy Sword)
He's also selling the Black Armory armor sets (Forged Machinist, Annealed Shaper, Woven Firesmith). These are some of the coolest-looking armor sets in the game, so if you're into fashion, definitely check them out!
Final Thoughts & TL;DR
So, what's the play this weekend, Guardians?
-
Titans: RUN, DON'T WALK. The Synthoceps roll is fantastic. Instant cop.
-
Hunters: Aeon Swift are a maybe for hardcore team play. Otherwise, save your shards.
-
Warlocks: Apotheosis Veil roll is a tragedy. Big skip. Go farm something else.
-
Weapons: Graviton Lance roll is great for Void builds. Hawkmoon is a PvP beast. The Huckleberry is pure fun.
-
Don't Forget: Grab your exotic cipher quest, check out the Black Armory fashion, and enjoy the Festival of the Lost! The ability to buy exotic class items easily is the real headline this season.
Alright, that's all I've got for you. Stay safe out there in the Haunted Sectors, and may your Eerie Engrams be ever in your favor. Catch you next weekend for another Xur breakdown. Peace!
